About

More than 20 years ago, I had my first experience breathing under water. What started as a holiday adventure soon became my passion. Fascinated by marine biology, the unique feeling of natural buoyancy, and being able to breath under water, I started my training to become a PADI dive instructor in 1998. Passing on my passion to other people, either by teaching or on guided fun dives, is what I love.

As I have always been interested in photography, I soon started taking my first underwater pictures, especially the tiny little critters - I fell in love with them! That is why I specialized in macro photography. Looking for the smallest animals and taking their picture is a never ending challenge to me.

Over the last twenty years, I have been able to dive all over the world. However, my favorite dive spots are found in Indonesia. This is truly a heaven-on-earth for all macro lovers. For over two years now I have been living in Bali, exploring the numerous beautiful dive sites this island has to offer. Furthermore, Bali is a convenient starting point for some of the most famous global dive destinations, including the Komodo islands, Raja Ampat, Ambon or Lembeh. All of these destinations can be reached from Bali with minimum travel involved.

Sharing my underwater discoveries and encounters with others is one of the things I love most about underwater photography as for most people this amazing underwater world is a total unknown.

I Hope you will enjoy my pictures and please feel free to contact me.
